What is Prevagen Supplement?

Prevagen is an OTC brain health supplement clinically shown to be safe and to improve memory and support brain function, such as mild memory loss associated with aging. 

Prevagen is contained, Apoaequorin, the active ingredient. It is a calcium-binding protein isolated from jellyfish Aequorea victoria and has been used for many years as a calcium indicator. It is a dietary supplement that claims to help with mild memory loss.

Experience With Prevagen

With most supplements like this one, it’s up to the individual to take the time and effort to find if the outcome expected from product was attained.

Whether or not it works, only depends if it helps or It seems to help with my condition. Would I be better. same, or worse without taking this supplement that is something to know as time passes.

Prevagen is available in Regular Strength (10 mg) and Extra Strength (20 mg) dosages as a once-daily oral capsule or chewable tablet.

Does Prevagen Help The Memory?

I can not really say that it work as I have used it for a couple of weeks and I think it’s too early to conclude anything. So far, I have noticed no changes or improvements in my memory health.

With little to no backing from science, there is little evidence that Prevagen provides any meaningful benefit in terms of memory improvement, and the extent of potential improvement appears to be minimal.

For effective results take one tablet daily, in the morning, with or without food.

Some of the side effects to look out for include;

  • Constipation
  • Edema and;
  • Ehypertension. 

Conclusion

Few research concluded that Prevagen could improve aspects of cognitive function in people with normal brain-related aging or very mild cognitive impairment. But there is little to no scientific backing supporting this claim.
