Cider Wine Reviews: Is Cider Wine The Best Alcohol? Read My Review

Do you want to buy Cider? Is it actually the best wine? Carefully read through this review to know more about this product. Find out all you need to know before you decide to buy.

What is Cider Wine?

Cider is an alcoholic beverage made from fermented apples (like how wine is made from fermented grapes). Like wine, starting with fruit gives hard cider taste profiles that range from fruity to dry. Your palette can pick up on the acids and tannins that come from the wide variety of apples

Experience With This Wine

I bought this to celebrate my promotion at the office. My guy said this was nice as a substitute but not on par to sheppys (a Cider brand) that has a better flavour.

This cider is more like apple juice than cider. It’s ok but one bottle is enough for a drink. I was hoping to be able to drink a few in a session but it’s just too sweet. It is a very pleasant drink to have in the evening. It is a bit more expensive than buying from my local supermarket

Is Cider Considered The Best Wine?

Made from apple juice, craft cider has a lower alcohol content than wine while being similarly rich in antioxidant plant compounds. As well as contributing much to the flavour and colour of the drink, these compounds may help lower the risk of heart disease.

Like beer, cider can help you relax. Scientifically speaking, it helps release endorphins which lighten you up and improve your mood. But, as is the case with most good things, it’s important to not overdo it. Too much intake, and you’re looking at some sad emotions when the endorphins crash and the alcohol hits.

Pros: Benefits

  • It is Low on Alcohol
  • Apple Flavored (Very sweet)
  • Recommended for customer who don’t really take alcohol

How To Use

  • Pour a wine-sized serving into a wine glass, for the best possible drinking experience.
  • In terms of serving temperature, between 12-14°, so if you are storing your cider in the fridge, it is recommended to take it out around 15 minutes before you plan on drinking it.

Cons: Disadvantages

  • Generally not consider low-calorie.
  • Significant amount of sugar.
  • Acidic ciders can cause stomach upset and indigestion.
  • Sugars and acidity can cause tooth decay.
  • Risk of a hangover when taken too much.

Conclusion

The fermentation process of cider is very similar to what’s used in winemaking, except it doesn’t have to take as long and the lower sugar content of the apples generally results in a lower alcohol content
